Volcanoes

On the 30th of April we made volcanoes on the beach.We made Arthur's volcano erupt by putting baking soda and vinegar in, it was white because we do not have any red food die on the boat.

With mine and Katherine's volcanoes we made smoke. I covered mine with seaweed and it made a lot of smoke.I thought it was really fun.! We made the volcanoes in Sperm Whale Head.

How To Make A Volcano:

What you need:

• sand
• weed
• matches/fire lighter 
• twigs 
• paper

 Method:

1. Make a mountain of sand.
2. Then dig a hole down the middle of the mountain.
3. Make a tunnel through the side of the mountain.

4. Then scrunch up some paper and put it in the top of the volcano followed by some twigs.
5. Now use the fire lighter/matches to light the paper
