Seaport Marina, Launceston, Tasmania
Loving our time in Tasmania! Nestled snugly in a friend's pen at the marina has enabled us to explore Launceston & surrounds with a hire car. Highlights have been the Cataract Gorge walks (we've been twice), catching trout, camping in the Bay of Fires & visiting a town called Meander! All these are worthy of their own post, just need to slow down long enough to write them up...
If the forecast remains favourable we're planning on heading back down the River Tamar towards Beauty Point today with a possible move back out on to Bass Strait on Friday in the direction of Flinders or Deal Island.
We will definitely need to come back here. So much to see & do.
Picture shows Meander in the marina. Centre of the shot back from the house boat. If you zoom in you can see the orange life buoy on the stern.
